Revolut is one of the best ways to exchange your money to local currency whilst abroad.
HOW IT WORKS – You can pre- load your card from your normal bank account, free of charge and exchange to over 30 local currencies enabling you to spend your money in that country.
Not only do you get the benefit of a great exchange rate you also have the ease of all those currencies at your fingertips with out having to have lots of different currencies in your wallet.
You can also withdraw local currency from any ATM worldwide, please check any local charges that may apply and pay by your Revolut card in any shops that accept card payments.
Whilst in Turkey I have used this card since 2015 and depending on which package you choose to have with Revolut you can withdraw local currency free of charge at any Halk or Ziraat ATM machines, other may charge a small fee.
You will find there are plenty of ATMs dotted around in Fethiye, Hisaronu and Olu deniz .
Not only can you exchange currency you can also make bank transfers, have your wage paid into your Revolut account, split bills with friends and many more things.
There is so much more you can do with this card and I have found this has been the best way to manage my money in Turkey if you do not want to go down the road of opening a local bank account.
